PHILOSOPHY
|
At St. Isaac
Jogues Preschool, we provide a warm, caring and risk-free environment. Early
childhood should be a journey not a race. Children progress at different paces according
to their individual development, and their background of experience and needs. Here at St. Isaac Jogues, our program provides students with developmentally appropriate activities that will assist in the formation of the total person; spiritually, physically, emotionally and intellectually. |

SCHEDULE
The daily schedule is structured enough to provide the children with the familiarity of a routine yet maintains the flexibility to adjust to the class's individual needs. Through the guidance and dedication of our staff we strive to build a safe and loving environment that encourages socialization, creativity, experimentation and an eagerness to learn, play, and work together. Developmentally appropriate programs are designed to make learning more enjoyable.

Our enrollment is limited to twelve children per class. This allows for individual attention to be given to each student. There is currently a teacher and a teacher's aide in each classroom. Our teacher to student ratio is 2:12. We feel that with a small class size our students will have successful developmental experiences. These experiences will help prepare them for their school years that lie ahead.
STAFF
Our teachers are college graduates and certified in education. Our aides have had significant experience in early childhood education.
